SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Zerigo Health, which delivers the only connected light therapy solution for treating chronic skin conditions at home or on the go, today announced the launch of a new software release which includes integration of the American Academy of Dermatology Guideline protocols for the treatment of eczema with narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) phototherapy.
Evernorth, Cigna Corporation’s health services business, is the first to launch Zerigo’s solution for both psoriasis and eczema, which will be offered as a pilot program through its Digital Health Formulary.
The Evernorth Digital Health Formulary connects employers, insurers and patients with innovative, affordable, and evidence-based care that meets their broader health care needs. The pilot program will enable more people with chronic skin conditions to better manage their conditions.
